What does the color green represent, and what does it have to offer?

The color green is one of the most extravagant of all colors known to humanity. On a color wheel, the other colors stand out vibrantly, waiting to be used. They all brighten up the picture or canvas that they are used for and liven up the previously blank starting point. But wait, there is still one color on the wheel that the artist hasn’t used: green. Why didn’t this color elect to stand out as strongly as the rest? Does it not want to be used as the others were?
